Anti-Bureaucracy: Anthropic Launches Claude Marketplace

Simultaneously with the Microsoft announcement, on March 9, 2026, Anthropic unveiled its own B2B product — Claude Marketplace. It is a platform for the direct purchase and deployment of corporate AI tools with unified billing.

The goal is obvious: to bypass "pilot purgatory." Usually, implementing AI into a large company takes months of approvals with the IT department and security officers. The Marketplace standardizes the procurement process by offering verified AI modules on a subscription basis. If US government agencies (DoD/GSA) have become a toxic zone for Anthropic due to political risks, the company is accelerating monetization in the private sector, aiming to become the de facto "App Store for corporate AI solutions."
