Core Access: Anthropic Grants Independent Auditors Full Access to Servers
Under the threat of total government control, frontier model developers are making forced concessions. On October 16, 2026, Anthropic (creator of Claude) capitulated to market pressure, granting independent evaluators from the METR organization unprecedented access to its internal systems and computing infrastructure.

For the first time, external auditors have been granted equal rights with the lab's own engineers and can publish vulnerability reports without prior corporate censorship. For the B2B macroeconomic market, this is a watershed moment. Previously, Big Tech used non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to hide the hallucinations and failures of its algorithms from investors. Anthropic's decision sets a new standard for AI compliance. Competitors (including OpenAI) will be forced to follow suit, otherwise, enterprise clients will refuse to purchase their APIs, reasonably suspecting the presence of critical hidden vulnerabilities (0-days) in the architecture of closed models.
