Project Campos: Apple Revamps Siri into a Powerful AI Chatbot

According to a Bloomberg report dated January 22, 2026, Apple is preparing the most significant Siri update in its history. Under the secret codename "Campos," the company plans to integrate a full-fledged multimodal chatbot based on its own proprietary language models into iOS 27 and macOS. This is Apple's technological response to the dominance of OpenAI and Google.

Unlike its competitors, Apple focuses on seamless ecosystem integration: Campos will be able to perform complex actions within apps, analyze on-device user context without cloud data transfer, and maintain sophisticated dialogues. Insiders report that Siri will cease to be just a "voice assistant" and become the central AI core of all Apple devices, capable of autonomous reasoning and interface management.
