Pilot Graveyard: 87% of Corporations Cannot Scale AI Due to Outdated IT Infrastructure
The magic of artificial intelligence has crashed against corporate bureaucracy and old servers. On October 1, 2026, Reuters published a devastating study by BearingPoint: although 75% of corporations report a positive financial outcome from AI, only 13% have been able to transition to actual strategy deployment.

The rest are stuck in "pilot project purgatory." The main barriers cited are uncontrollable compliance requirements and the inability to integrate modern LLMs with the outdated (legacy) IT systems of banks, retail, and manufacturing. For the B2B macroeconomic market, this report is a cold shower. Wall Street demands a return on trillion-dollar investments, but the enterprise physically cannot "digest" the innovations. Companies are willing to pay for cloud computing but cannot apply agents in practice. If the industry does not solve the integration problem, the AI bubble will deflate not due to a lack of technology, but due to corporate technical debt.
