[Update] Physical Supremacy: Honor Robot Breaks Human Record in Half Marathon
Yesterday we recorded the start of a massive humanoid stress test in Beijing. Today, the industry received game-changing results. On April 19, 2026, at the Beijing E-Town half marathon, an Honor robot completed the 21km distance with a phenomenal time of 50:26.

This time surpasses the current human world record. The achievement goes far beyond balancing algorithms and computer vision (Embodied AI). Moving at such a speed for an hour proves a revolutionary leap in portable battery capacity and servo motor efficiency. China’s industrial policy of field-testing robots is paying off: the hardware has reached a level where humanoid platforms are becoming faster, more enduring, and more reliable than their biological prototypes.
