EDAG Group: Factory Enters the Metaverse

On February 20, 2026, engineering company EDAG Group announced a large-scale implementation of AI and "Industrial Metaverse" technologies into production chains.

Digital twins of factories are no longer just beautiful 3D models. Now they are full-fledged simulations where AI agents optimize assembly, predict machine wear, and train personnel in VR even before the foundation of a real workshop is poured. Industry 4.0 is going virtual.
