Elsevier LeapSpace: Verified AI for Scientists
On January 21, 2026, publishing giant Elsevier announced the general availability of the LeapSpace platform. It is a specialized workspace for researchers using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) based on Elsevier's vast library of scientific publications.

Unlike ChatGPT or Gemini, LeapSpace guarantees zero reference hallucinations: every answer is backed by a real DOI and citation from peer-reviewed journals. This is a response to the trust crisis in academia, where the use of generative AI often leads to data fabrication. LeapSpace is positioned as the first "gold standard" AI assistant for writing dissertations and grant proposals.
