Five Eyes Intelligence Alliance Recognizes AI Agents as National Security Threat
Institutional cyber-paranoia has reached the state level. On May 1-2, 2026, intelligence agencies of the "Five Eyes" alliance (US NSA, CISA, Australia’s ASD, and their counterparts from Canada and New Zealand) issued a joint directive on the safe adoption of Agentic AI.

The document records a fundamental paradigm shift. Autonomous algorithms capable of writing code and executing task chains (like in the recent GPT-5.5 and Anthropic releases) are officially considered a vector for critical cyber threats. What the financial regulators of Singapore and Australia warned about last week is now enshrined at the level of national security. Corporations are mandated to implement the strictest monitoring systems (guardrails) to ensure that AI agents cannot be used to generate zero-day exploits and automate hacker attacks.
