Venture capital firm Flagship Pioneering announced on September 18, 2025, the creation of a new company, Extuitive, which offers an AI platform to accelerate innovation in the consumer goods sector. The platforms key technology is "AI-consumers"—sophisticated simulations of shopper behavior created using generative AI. These virtual consumers allow small and medium-sized businesses to test ideas quickly.
