Google and Tel Aviv University Launch $1M AI Research Program
Google.org and Tel Aviv University (TAU) officially announced the launch of a joint artificial intelligence research program on December 28, 2025. The project received $1 million in funding and will focus on developing experimental AI approaches oriented toward "AI for Social Good." The collaboration involves close interaction between Google engineers and Israeli academia to solve complex challenges in medicine, ecology, and education.

This initiative exemplifies deepening ties between global tech giants and leading research centers. The program will not only provide resources for fundamental research but also help bridge the gap between theoretical developments and their practical industry application. The results are expected to be published as open access, contributing to the global scientific community and strengthening Israel's position as a world hub for AI innovation.
