Inference in Every Home: LG Embeds AI Chips into 2026 QNED TV Panels
While giants battle for server power, algorithms are quietly trickling down to the level of edge consumption. On April 3, LG Electronics announced the global release of the 2026 QNED evo Mini LED TV lineup.

The key feature of the generation is the deep integration of proprietary AI chips for real-time picture and sound processing. Neural networks no longer live somewhere in data centers; they are physically located in the TV's microchip, upscaling the picture to 4K/8K, cleaning audio tracks of noise, and applying dynamic HDR frame by frame based on content analysis. This is a brilliant example of how deep learning is becoming the de facto standard for any hardware consumer device, shifting the computational load from streaming servers to the user's local hardware.
