Bottleneck: AI Code Slows Product Releases Due to Code Review Collapse
The development industry has encountered a productivity paradox. On August 21, 2026, the Linear platform published aggregated telemetry that revealed a severe architectural bug in AI implementation. It turned out that neural networks now generate about 50% of all issues, and developers have tripled the number of pull requests. However, the overall Time-to-Market has paradoxically increased.

The reason lies in physiology. A machine writes code in seconds, but a human must check it (code review), and human throughput remains the same. Development teams (Senior engineers) are drowning in a flood of synthetic syntax, checking LLM hallucinations. For the B2B market, this report is a cold shower. Flooding development with AI assistants is pointless if you do not have autonomous auditor agents. The economics of programming has hit the human bottleneck, demanding a transition to a fully autonomous cycle (Auto Mode), where AI not only writes but also tests its own code.
