For Nokia, this is a matter of survival. Classic telecom hardware manufacturers must adapt to the "AI-native" paradigm, or they will be squeezed out by software AI companies and hyperscalers. The transition to GPU-accelerated base stations means operators will be able to flexibly slice the network for the needs of specific IoT devices and smart factories, monetizing Quality of Service (QoS) in a fundamentally new way.
