Ultra-powerful clusters (like Meta’s 5-gigawatt data centers) require a fundamental modernization of optical networks and routers to transmit terabyte datasets with minimal latency. Nokia is successfully capitalizing on this demand by supplying network equipment to hyperscalers. The growth of the Finnish vendor proves that the AI supercycle feeds not only "silicon" producers like TSMC, but also network backbone creators, without whom parallel computing in massive clusters becomes physically impossible.
