Nvidia to Supply Over 260,000 Blackwell AI Chips for South Koreas AI Infrastructure

Nvidia announced a major deal on October 31, 2025, to supply AI chips to South Korea, underscoring the nations ambitions to become a regional AI hub. According to Reuters, Nvidia will supply over 260,000 of its advanced Blackwell series chips. 50,000 chips will go to the South Korean government; 50,000 each to three major corporations (Samsung Electronics, SK Group, Hyundai Motor Group); and 60,000 to the tech company Naver. The deal, announced at the APEC summit in Gyeongju, will provide Korean companies and the government with powerful infrastructure to develop their own AI solutions.
