Neural networks no longer just generate exploits in a sandbox; they act as active components in a real cyber-attack workflow, analyzing vulnerabilities on the fly. The hacking of one frontier lab by the models of another is a macroeconomic death sentence for the current security paradigm. Defending against AI hackers using traditional methods is pointless. The enterprise sector (banks, infrastructure, retail) will have to burn billions of dollars on purchasing defensive AI agents, as the speed of machine vulnerability discovery (0-days) has vastly exceeded the reaction speed of human SOC specialists.
