AGI Manifesto: OpenAI Proposes 4-Day Workweek and Robot Tax

Tech corporations are shifting from writing code to writing social laws. On April 7, OpenAI published an official policy document outlining the macroeconomics of the "Intelligence Age."

This is not an analyst's concept, but the official political stance of Sam Altman's company. Key theses include a transition to a 4-day workweek, the introduction of an automation (robot) tax, and the creation of a sovereign public wealth fund replenished by AI super-profits. OpenAI de facto acknowledges the impending cannibalization of the labor market (which we already see with Indian outsourcing) and offers governments a ready-made economic model of Universal Basic Income (UBI). The AI developer is taking over the functions of the state, shaping the rules of the game before politicians have time to grasp the scale of the changes.
