At the World Robot Conference (WRC) 2025, held on August 9, RoboSense, a well-known LiDAR manufacturer, unveiled its new strategic development: the Active Camera intelligent vision platform. The centerpiece of the presentation was the new-generation flagship product, AC2. Unlike conventional cameras, the Active Camera is an integrated system that combines high-quality optics with powerful onboard AI processing for real-time scene analysis. The previous generation model, AC1, was also showcased at the booth, allowing visitors to appreciate the technologys evolution. The company emphasized that the platform is part of their "AI-Ready" ecosystem, providing developers not just with hardware, but with a full suite of SDKs and tools for rapid integration into robots and autonomous systems.
