Samsung: From Smart Phones to Autonomous Factories
At MWC on March 1, 2026, Samsung didn't stop at presenting the Galaxy S26 smartphones. The company made a much larger strategic announcement: by 2030, Samsung's manufacturing will transition to the concept of "AI-driven factories."

This is not just the implementation of robotic arms; it is the complete replacement of human management on the assembly line. Artificial intelligence will manage supply chains, control defects at a microscopic level (computer vision), and optimize energy consumption in real time. Samsung's move is logical: the cost of silicon and complex electronics is rising, and the only way to maintain margins in the future is to eliminate the human factor from the production cycle. The integration of "cloud" and "edge" computing is becoming an industrial standard.
