Samsung Unveils "Vision AI" OLED TV Lineup with New AI Processor

Samsung Electronics announced on July 18, 2025, its new flagship OLED TV lineup for 2025-2026, featuring a specialized "Samsung Vision AI" module as its main highlight. According to the companys official press release, the new lineup, which includes models S95F, S90F, and S85F, is set to radically change the viewing experience through deep integration of artificial intelligence in real-time image and sound processing. The "Vision AI" module is a powerful neural processing unit (NPU) that analyzes each frame of video content and optimizes it on the fly. The system can recognize the type of content (movie, sports, video game) and automatically apply the best settings. Key features include AI Upscaling to 8K resolution with detail and texture restoration, advanced AI HDR Remastering technology that converts standard dynamic range to HDR, and adaptive contrast and color optimization for each individual scene. Furthermore, the AI module is also responsible for sound quality. The Adaptive Sound Pro feature analyzes the audio track and the rooms acoustics to optimize the sound, for instance, by making dialogues clearer against loud special effects. This launch demonstrates a key trend in the consumer electronics market: competition is shifting from purely hardware specifications (the quality of the OLED panel itself) to the intelligence and capabilities of the software. Samsung is betting that AI processing will become the main factor determining image and sound quality in the next generation of televisions.
