SK hynix presented its new "AI-NAND" product strategy at the Open Compute Project (OCP 2025) summit on October 26-27, 2025. This is a line of NAND memory specifically designed for the needs of modern AI systems. The "AIN Family" includes three categories: AIN P (Performance) – high-performance memory to accelerate inference of large models; AIN B (Bandwidth) – high-bandwidth memory using the new HBF® 3D structure; and AIN D (Density) – high-density memory for storing vast amounts of data with low power consumption. SK hynix plans to release the first samples by the end of 2026. This strategy reflects the memory markets shift towards AI solutions, where data access speed and storage are becoming critical for performance.
