State Plan for Singularity: South Korea Approves AI Strategy Until 2028
On March 29, 2026, South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) officially launched a three-year roadmap for the development of artificial intelligence and 6G networks. The ambitious goal is to enter the top three global AI industry leaders by 2028.

The document marks a shift from piecemeal investments to total digital transformation of the economy (AI Transformation). The plan includes a radical expansion of computing resources (recall the recent injections into NPU chips by Rebellions), modernization of telecom infrastructure to the 6G standard, and massive integration of autonomous agents into industry. While the West is stalling due to antitrust investigations and climate protests, Seoul is betting on speed, state deregulation, and seamless integration of software with its own cutting-edge hardware.
