World Internet Conference: AI Gains a Physical Body
On March 8, 2026, the main trend of the year—Embodied AI—was solidified at the World Internet Conference forum in Spain. Generative networks are moving out of data centers and being loaded into physical systems: from industrial manipulators to humanoid robots.

From a technical standpoint, this is a colossal leap. Classical robotics operated on hard-coded scripts. Embodied AI uses multimodal LLMs (vision + text + audio) as a central processor, allowing the robot to understand the context of the physical world, self-learn on the fly, and make non-standard decisions. The forum confirms: the next stage of the AI race is the creation of efficient autonomous machines capable of replacing humans in complex physical operations.
