Hyperscaler Scale: Sugon Unveils Domestic Cluster with 100,000 AI Cards
China is moving towards designing ultra-large computing architectures. On July 20, 2026, at the WAIC conference in Shanghai, the `Sugon 8000` supercluster was publicly showcased. According to Reuters Connect and specialized PRC publications, this is the first fully domestic data center integrating 100,000 AI cards into a single neural network web.

Such scale elevates Sugon to the league of global hyperscalers, placing the company alongside infrastructure projects by Elon Musk (xAI) and Meta. 100,000 accelerators is the volume required to train next-generation (sixth) foundation models with zero reliance on external supplies. The demonstration of Sugon 8000 proves that the domestic Chinese market possesses the competencies to synchronize giant arrays of chips, bypassing network bottleneck issues. The industrialization of artificial intelligence in Asia has reached absolute maturity.
