On December 12, 2025, Taiwan inaugurated a major new cloud center in Tainan. The 15MW facility will house the "Nano 4" supercomputer, which, according to Reuters, is equipped with thousands of advanced H200 and Blackwell GPUs. The center is a key part of the "Ten Major AI Infrastructure Projects" aimed at strengthening domestic computing power and achieving national technological independence, known as "sovereign AI."
