Paradigm Shift: B2B Sector Replaces Humans with AI Agents for Super Margins
The era of trading cheap man-hours in IT outsourcing has come to an end. On June 9, 2026, at its annual meeting, Indian integrator TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) voiced a radical forecast: in the foreseeable future, the number of AI agents deployed in processes will equal the company's human headcount.

Synchronously, Swiss firm SoftwareOne raised its financial targets through 2030, relying on the "structural opportunities of AI transformation." These two statements mark a fundamental restructuring of the corporate business model. Integrators no longer scale their business by hiring tens of thousands of Indian testers or coders (recall the recent deployment of Copilot across 300,000 workspaces). They sell configured autonomous pipelines to clients. This allows them to maintain revenue while radically reducing operational expenses (OPEX), generating unprecedented margins and foreshadowing the stagnation of the traditional "white-collar" labor market.
