State Acceptance for AGI: White House Requests AI Labs to Submit Models for Cybertesting
The Trump administration is tightening the knot of state control over advanced technologies. On June 2-3, 2026, the White House officially requested that leading AI labs (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) voluntarily submit their most powerful pre-release models for state cybertesting before public rollout.

This executive action follows a string of panic-inducing reports regarding AI-generated 0-day exploits. Formally, Washington is asking for "voluntary sharing" to detect infrastructure vulnerabilities. In practice, however, this sets up a mechanism for pre-release state vetting of frontier-AI systems. Despite pouring billions into political campaigns via Super PACs (the May 23 case), AI corporations are failing to escape state oversight. The White House is masterfully forcing them into compliance under the flag of national cyber defense.
