Nearly a third of users (31%) use generative neural networks for work tasks secretly, without management's knowledge. Moreover, 17% pay for AI tools out of their own pockets. The total personal spending by British employees on subscriptions is estimated at a colossal £958 million per year. For macroeconomics, this is a signal of a systemic failure in B2B: corporations are taking too long to approve security policies and purchase legal AI agents. Office workers are forced to buy productivity themselves, risking company trade secrets. If the enterprise does not accelerate the deployment of corporate LLM licenses, leaks of confidential data into public chatbots will become uncontrollable.
