Architecture Epicenter: The Year’s Main AI Conference, ICML 2026, Kicks Off in Seoul

The vector of technological breakthroughs is officially shifting to Asia. On July 6, 2026, the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2026) opened in the capital of South Korea—one of the most prestigious and hardcore academic events in the AI world. The event will run until July 11.

It is symbolic that Seoul was chosen as the venue—a city at the epicenter of the global hardware race (recall the recent South Korean $576 billion investment plan). ICML traditionally sets the technology stack for the next few years.
